There are signs and symptoms that indicate
that a root canal treatment is needed
a) Tooth pain - the type and degree of pain you experience can vary widely.
b) Gum tenderness or swelling in the area near the tooth.
c) Symptom frequency - can vary from day to day, month to month
or anything in between.
d) A situation where a tooth needs endodontic or root canal therapy may only be obvious to your dentist as the death of a tooth's pulp (nerve) is not always a painful event. It is possible that this process can take place without producing any obvious symptoms at all.
